Cutoffs change, they are not set in stone. You don't know what the cutoff is going to be, you only know last years.are there any other benefits apart from the obvious makes you look better?
If your applying for a graduate program or something they will most likely want to see your uni transcript, wouldn't care less about your atar^agreed . there is one people who said to me - example doing general maths is crap. because when your employer looks at your portfolio, they think you arent good at maths. lol-ed.
agreed, the higher the atar, the higher the demand for that particular course.Lolwut.
ATAR is only indicative of the demand for a particular uni course. No one in uni gives a crap of what you got.
As said, no one cares about ATAR beyond year 12.prestige.
scholarships???
Extra-curricular activities are of more importance.Could be a condition on early entry that you get a certain ATAR, so if you achieve it then you won't have to wait for main rounds?
so fucking true. I just wish more people would understand that.A high ATAR just means you're good at memorising and applying information under exam conditions.
...so fucking true. I just wish more people would understand that.

what are you referring to? good at what?...
The only way you can be good at this is if you have the intelligence of a smart student to figure this out and apply this.
Also, naturally gifted students understand concepts quicker and hence remember it better and are able to shoot it out in exams quicker than less talented students... such as yourself.
