i think our school is doing shipwrecks, which apparently has a lot of pracs.
Whats so good about medical physics. I reckon astro would be so much better. My teacher has no idea yet, she normally does Forensic, but has decided that in the last few years the questions have been increasingly harder to get marks in.
I think it is between Industrial and Shipwrecks. I don't really have a personal preference, as I'm just happy we are doing Medical Physics in Physics
Medical Physics is good because I'm interested in it. I imagine that the reason you would think astro would be better, would be due to your interest.Whats so good about medical physics. I reckon astro would be so much better.
Are there any interesting concepts/aspects in Medical Physics? (I havent even looked at that module online and its not in the text book [Not in jacaranda])Medical Physics is good because I'm interested in it. Doesnt seem all that hard as you learn about Radioactivity as a diagnostic tool and what not in the nuclear chem module in Production of materialI personally find the entire topic to be extramly interesting. Main concepts are as follows:
- The use of ultrasound in medicine
- Electromagnetic radiation as a diagnostic tool
- Radioactivity as a diagnostic tool
- Magnetic resonance imaging as a diagnostic tool
I am especially looking foreward to learning about blood flow, as well as ultrasounds and X-rays. =)
We're doing astro before we do space, more time tor revise as space is an easy chapter. But trust me, i love actual astrophysics, but the HSC syllabus for astro is so incredibly boring, Medical and Quanta to Quarks are both WAY more interestingWhats so good about medical physics.
