Firstly I've done about 118 hours and most of them are on Residential and Main Roads, just want to know if the assessor asks about the type of roads when he looks at your logbook?

I've done a bit of freeway, gravel etc but the majority is Residential and Main since that's all my parents can really take me on in their spare time and they've never really needed to go down the freeway.

My first logbook got ruined so I've had to write all my hours in Excel.

I have 224 entries and only around 20 of them I've had some freeway experience which seems good enough I mean that's still around 10 or so hours.

Bascially what I'm asking is, does the assessor just look at the hours and minutes and tick it off (also looks at odometer I know that) or does he expect you to have been on every single road and etc. My hours and experiences are all legit and I don't want the assessor to think otherwise.

Pretty much just the hours. Though you may want to get a proper logbook before trying to go for your P's.

Yeah seriously, they don't care as long as the hour requirements are met.

For the odometre i just put 0 start then 6km from one place to another. like i aways put 0 start then say 7km.. Is this correct?
Say if you fail first time and want to attempt second time do you need your log book?

I think you're meant to use the actual numbers. So something like: 124384 start 124390 end

I'm pretty sure you don't.

Lol my logbook is so messy.

I write it all and my parents just sign it without looking :)

(but i cannot fake much otherwise they will notice the dramatic hours jump)

I am sure they won't. I reackon if you keep doing what you are doing currently and explain it on the day, they won't mind.

People at my school did it like that and they didn't get rejected.

Depends on the RTA employee.

In all seriousness I might do all the hours, going to get lessons for 10 hours which count for 30, and that means only need 100 total, so maybe.
