I found it pretty easy, I have no idea about that tax table finding A. I spent the 20mins I had at the end to try and figure that one out and I still didnt get it...

The base rate for any taxable income is the max total amount the previous sector can charge you, so like, going off what i remembered, the previous tax sector (35000-80000) was 10150 + 30c for every dollar over 35000; so the answer i did was A = 10150 + ((80,000-35000)x0.3)
I'm not sure if that makes ANY sense whatsoever..
But in answering that, I didn't realise the trial was only 2 and a half hours... So i didn't attempt about 30marks worth of EASY questions, because i saved those till last. I'm soooo annoyed!

did it today and i must say, it was quite hard. found that i got alot of D's in the multi choice and that taxation table was crap. do not want look at the mark i will haha

Sucks about the 30marks though, What were you doing the whole time though?

I was going sooo slow because I thought i had ample time! So i went through, applied myself in all the questions, and like i was double checking if my answerswere right, just taking my time. Utterly stupid mistake! Haha.

-> Edit// Yeah i don't think it was ever actually like... Taught, i just remember my teacher saying something about it last year, but then proceeding to say we'll never need to actually know that... Luckily my memory is pretty solid. Haha.

I found it a bit hard on Q28 and the last two multiple choice got me i was like fuckk...
What did everyone do for question 21 (bacteria thing) and the last multi choice question 22?
Also simpsons rule on Q28 got me but i found that last triangle easy as i just substituted a with 1 hahah probs completely wrong but i got the answer

yeah, I don't remember exactly what the figures were for that question.. but yes, the answer was 100000 (B)
