i want to do either medicinal chemistry at UNSW, chemical engineering at UNSW, medical degree at sydney uni, double degree at Sydney uni for teaching secondary school science and a bachelor of science or something along those lines any suggestions? or does anyone think any of these courses is better than the others?

some people are so stupid. the whole point of prefrences is putting what u WANT first.
when offers come around, u might get your 1st preference but it may not be the one u want. u just screwed urself up the arse big time. you just got stuck with something you dont want. ofc u can change but why go to the trouble when u can get ur preferences right first time round?

lol griffith uni dent. worst course ever.
u pay 3 years of HECs and the last 2 years are full fee. i.e. ~100k out of your own pocket.

they structured it as a 3 year undergrad B Dental Science and then 2 years Diploma Dental Science or some shit. U cannot practice without the diploma so u gotta do the 2 years and pay for it $45k pa.

Is it true that if you don't make it to your first uni preference, that in itself will affect the rest of your preferences? (So you don't pick the best uni for your course if you're in doubt whether you can get in or not)

Anyone planning on doing criminology at UNSW? Or combined law with social science in macquarie? I don't know if im able to get 96 ATAR, though it is possible, seeing as though i'm surfacing on a 90 in relation to my current marks. It could go up, but i'm not sure. Just in case, i've got my back-up at UNSW with criminiology, having an 85 cut-off....
