No. Time runs by the big clock that everyone has access to, not your personal kitchen timer sitting on your desk. What happens if your thing ticks 10 seconds early and goes off in a large hall? [I know you said it doesn't beep, but the invigilators won't know that, and there's no way you can guarantee it won't beep]

I'm pretty sure my school let's us take a wrist watch, however it must be removed and placed on the desk :S odd, I know.

Yeah watches must be placed on the table during examination periods.. Also yeah I heard teachers say no timers :( sorry mate.. find an alternate method!!!!

Yeah, happens in University as well.

I think it's so that if you wrote stuff on your wrist/sleeve, you can't just say: "oh, I was looking at my watch".

Exam starts at 9:30....45 min section

9degree 30 min + 0 degree 45 mins = 10:15

??
