Any tips for independent advanced paper 2? we have it on monday -_-
were the questions hard to understand or straight forward? how many pages did you guys write for each?

Mark: 102/105

Paper 1 = 42/45
Section 1 (Reading) = 15/15
Section 2 (Creative) = 12/15
Section 3 (Essay) = 15/15

Paper 2 = 60/60
Module A (Frankenblade) = 20/20
Module B (Hamlet) = 20/20
Module C (Fiftieth Gate) = 20/20

NB: I think my school had a combination of the Independent Paper + CSSA Paper.

agreed. wth is this last year we had four state ranks in english and getting above 95/105 was like 5th or 6th our school....

If you're aiming for 87, and you got 77/105, you're in extremely good hands. a 77/105 gets you about a 88-89 in English, and it's quite possible to get 95+ if your other subjects are of a similar standard.

Case in point: me. I got 83/105 for my English trials, but I ended up with 93 for my internal mark for English Advanced.

Lol, we all got told off for Module C. Our teachers expected us to talk about 3 Ted Hughes poems... Hahaha anyone who only talked about one, got no higher than a 7
