Do you reckon that's the right word to use?
"his school is" not "was"
Good luck getting your 99.7
Well, they do it.As I understand the issue:
Your final mark is the sum of your internal and external mark.
You external mark is the mark you achieve in the exam.
Your internal mark is the external mark of the person ranked externally the position you are internally. E.g. If you a ranked first internally, your internal mark is whatever the highest external mark was.
Your internal rank is determined by your assessments throughout the session. It is not an arbitrary number selected by your teacher. This is submitted to the Board of Studies before the final exam.
It does not benefit the school to manipulate the internal marks of students. There is no reason why they should do this, and I believe it is unlawful if they are doing it.
If you have any proof that your school is engaging in this behaviour then report it to the Board of Studies. It is a serious issue, and they will treat it as such. If you have neither the proof or the inclination to report it, then please refrain from complaining about it here.Well, they do it.
It depends on the external marks. A bigger gap in the external will cause a bigger reduction in the internal. How much of a reduction will one receive if they are only behind 1st by 2 marks (witshstanding the school rank of roughly 200)
We do and we are. Btw, I wasn't complaining. Just sharing. If you have any proof that your school is engaging in this behaviour then report it to the Board of Studies. It is a serious issue, and they will treat it as such. If you have neither the proof or the inclination to report it, then please refrain from complaining about it here.
Ahh I thought It would be 95 but yeah there's more to consider94 based purely off those numbers, but there's more to the process when you factor in other schools/aligning/etc.
EDIT: I edited your post by accident. My apologies.
No u get the highest internalShould we be sharing our notes with our cohort??
I'm coming first will this benefit me?
Yes, you need to work together to try and bring your cohorts external marks up, so that your internal marks will increase. However, it will only benefit you if you fail to get the highest external mark.Should we be sharing our notes with our cohort??
I'm coming first will this benefit me?
What if I get the highest external, will it not benefit me then?Yes, you need to work together to try and bring your cohorts external marks up, so that your internal marks will increase. However, it will only benefit you if you fail to get the highest external mark.
