I'm a person who wishes that they did biology, do I count?
Maybe just do a bit of quick revision after each lesson to stay on top of the work, it will keep you from drowning in endless content to learn much later on.

I'm not good at Biology but I like Year 12 Biology. It's soooo much better than year 11.
Like it's more applied and interesting since it's more about humans than bloody plants.
I don't actually memorise the information. If you understand it, then you just branch off from your understanding...
Just like Chemistry and Physics, we have to realise that everything likes to be in equilibrium. And that's pretty much it.
Eg. Phys: Lenz Law, Chem: Le Chateliers Principle, Bio: Homeostasis.

If you're not interested, or pretending to be interested in it then don't do it?
It's easier to be interested in it.
Depends on what your other subjects are =]

Bio was my most hated subject at the start of year 11 but now it's probably one of my favourites. The beginning (cells, plants etc) is really boring and made me hate it but it gets more interesting. :)

If you read your information, cover it, and write what you remember, you should find that is somewhat an efficient method to memorisation. However before that, make sure you actually understand the information you are reading. If not, be sure to ask your friends / teachers etc. I think you should be able to memorise topic 1 for biology in about a week or two - or three! , provided you stay on task and don't bludge.

Memorisation doesn't come quick if you're starting off. So take it slow.

Lastly, I think that you need to like what you are studying to be able to achieve good marks.

I like Biology because I think it's the easiest to study for out of all my other subjects - well, so far anyway.

The way I study is reading the info and repeating out loud, and also making a story of the processes :$

well,, i get 75 % in biology ^_^

my advice do alot of notes and summarising as it makes life easier

try to do your homeworks regularly and don't depend on the teacher try to get your own info do research as they help to memorise and for me i study 2 hours biology everyday :)

btw pictures helps ,,, if you try to sketch the diagrams of your topic for example the digestive system or respiratory system and just stick them in your room , you will memorise them easily ....i tried it and it works ^_^ GOOD LUCK
