So the exams are coming soon. I've noticed some people are stressed and lacking motivation. Follow these steps to get back into productive study mode.
Step 1. Take 5 deep breaths, NOW
Step 2. Get a glass of water/green tea
Step 3. Remove all distractions e.g. Facebook, games, movies, drugs (especially depressants like mj)
Step 4. Organise your desk if it's a mess
Step 5. Check out this video to get you in the study mood =D

Step 6. Now, break down your study periods into lots of mini-tasks. (The leading cause of being anxious at this time of the year is feeling overwhelmed.)
a) Write down three mini-tasks on a post-it note
(A mini-task is anything you feel you can handle and accomplish right now. It could be learning a single dot point, answering 10 maths questions, memorising 10 quotes/techniques in English, writing an introduction for an essay etc.)
b) Stick the post-it notes in places you'll see them e.g. on the computer, on the desk, on the TV, on the fridge, in the bathroom, on your walls (Thanks 2011_)
c) At the end of the day congratulate yourself on how many completed mini-tasks you've done!
Note: Remember to schedule short breaks
Repeat Steps 1-6 each time you are feeling stressed/unmotivated.
And most importantly,
Step 7. Remind yourself that the HSC doesn't go on forever. It'll all be finished in less than 3 months time.
Stay strong and study hard now, you won't regret it =)
