that's a pretty batfuckinsane question to give away"A sense of belonging can emerge from the connections made with people, places, groups, communities and the larger world. Aspects of belonging include the potential of the individual to enrich or challenge a community or group. They may reflect the way attitudes to belonging are modified over time".
Demonstrate how your prescribed text and ONE other related text of your own choosing represent this interpretation of belonging.
Hey, that question is okay actually.Kilara High School Paper 1 2011:
that's a pretty batfuckinsane question to give away
But even then, the HSC would NOT give such a question
but it's so long and you'd have to write so much just to answer the whole question =_=Hey, that question is okay actually.
Now these questions up there are hard questions that you won't be able to do with a memorized response, and even then, those who haven't had a memorized response would still have difficulty answering those questions =_=Went through all the questions on here http://tutortales.wordpress.com/2009/07/16/practice-questions-for-area-of-study-belonging/
And these are the only two that i would have a lot of difficulty answering:
- Membership of any group requires obedience. Rules and conventions are the cornerstone of acceptance.
What is the relationship between belonging and rules? In your answer refer to your prescribed text and two texts of your own choosing.- Attitudes towards belonging change over time. How have the texts you have studied explored shifting attitudes towards belonging? (ETA 2009 Trial)
Lol yeh, agreed there, but I don't think they will give us a question that is too unfriendly. This worries me alot.
Im now starting to think is memorising my essays actually going to help?? T.T.. if i get a unfriendly question im screwed.
same here, in fact some prescribed texts don't really have any quotes about being an individual... unless if I'm wrong. (I don't seem to find any in migrant hostel or 10 mary street T_T)anything with the "notion of identity" always fcuks me up... Maybe because my quotes are all focused on belonging and not about standing out and being an individual
Yeh, identity is always a bit of a trek to adapt essays too, but it can be done if you establish it thoroughly in your thesis and change your quotes around in the bodyanything with the "notion of identity" always fcuks me up... Maybe because my quotes are all focused on belonging and not about standing out and being an individual
Belonging 1 related text , 2 skrynezki's.Lol yeh, agreed there, but I don't think they will give us a question that is too unfriendly.
How many related texts are you doing for your belonging essay, 1 or 2, and if so are you memorising for both cases?
write the PEELs down and memorize all of them, that way you can select PEELs that fit in with the question on the day of the examBelonging 1 related text , 2 skrynezki's.
But i have 1 backup also.
Im not memorising fully. Best way is to practice through P-E-E-L in my opinion, just know your text well then you don't have to care what question they ask!
haha yeah good tip .write the PEELs down and memorize all of them, that way you can select PEELs that fit in with the question on the day of the exam
but on the other hand, memorizing all those peels are going to be so damn difficult, considering I suck at memorizing T_Thaha yeah good tip .
Trials i was worried that my essay didn't fit in but i don't think the teacher realised lol so she just gave me the mark
