Hahaha.Just wondering, what is everyone's time management for 4u?
refer to page 1... and yeah i get that sometimes lololol depending on the paper. idk i keep making retarded errors when you have to do the nasty calculus and re-arranging the eqn ones at the end = gay answers where i can't figure out what i did wrong = spend 15 mins looking for the square root i missed or something1-5 takes about 45-50 minutes.
Q6 takes about 15 minutes.
Q7 takes over 60-65 minutes. Basically I spend the whole fucking hour raking my brain trying to figure out how to finish Q7 LOL
Btw how are you meant to use reading time? I normally scan thru the paper in the first 30seconds, and then spend the rest of my time twiddling my thumbs... im guessin ur meant to take advantage of it?
it takes me 40 to do q1-4 did another one today, same result ugghhwhole exam should take you about 1hour 30 minutes working comfortably.
q 1-4 about half an hour
q 5-6 about half an hour
q 7 about half an hour
That's a good idea, thanks for the suggestion.for the HSC, use your reading time wisely and try figure out the circle geo question before the exam starts so you dont have to waste time on it later.
why only 7/12 for q3?Also, I typically spend...
Q1-Q2 - 5-10 minutes each [11+/12]
Q3 - 10 minutes [7+/12]
Q4-Q5 - 15 minutes each [11+/12]
Q6 - 15 minutes [9+/12]
Q7 - 20 minutes [7+/12]
Mr Riproot basically craps himself when he sees a Q3, it had baffled scientists all over the world.why only 7/12 for q3?
haha ok thenMr Riproot basically craps himself when he sees a Q3, it had baffled scientists all over the world.
Q3 always makes me make silly mistakes. No idea why.Mr Riproot basically craps himself when he sees a Q3, it had baffled scientists all over the world.
Its probably because you're taking the long-winded solution rather than the short succint one. The key to 3u maths is not to find the right answer, there are often a dozen ways to do so, but finding the most concise and elegant answer. You'dd be surprised to know that almost every question has at least one short and elegant solution. Its your job to find it and it helps you deal with time constraints.hmmm.... i've done papers where i've done q1-5 without taking a single break of thinkin, i.e. continuous writing nonstop yet it took me about 50 minutes - and i wrote fast...
what the fuck! and you get 80+ ? are you a machine? To be brutally honest, I don't put any effort into managing my time
I do the exam in about 45 minutes and I don't care how much time is spent on each question
@btb94: Hell yes, they're too easy and I have to concentrate so hard when I'm going back through because I know there's a silly mistake in there somewhere....
45 min to do an exam? That's impossible -- even if you write the MINIMUM amount of working out in order to satisfy the marking guidelines by 100%, and you don't take a break, and you write as fast a possible, you can't finish in 45 minutes.what the fuck! and you get 80+ ? are you a machine?
+1, this is why its relatively harder for people to state rank if they are not first at their school compared to other subjectsI would imagine quite a few. Its not amazingly difficult for an adept 4 unit student.
its something like 50ishbtw guys, how many people do u reckon get 83 or 84 in the exam?
