and look at the comments. Are white people generally overreacting towards this? Being chinese, and having been to China on multiple occasions, I can say that seeing a child or anyone run over in the streets is not uncommon. Why are people somehow labelling this as sick and inhumane? Sure the two people were, but not the whole country. Why are these people so clueless to see that a dying person on the street is what most people either see, or hear of everyday on the news? Can you please get a clue before insulting a whole race?

This is so disturbing... where has decency gone... How could anyone look down, see a little girl dying and continue to walk on. I don't care if people are worried about whether they will have to give police statements etc, if you see someone dying or just critically on the path, you STOP and HELP them, like a decent human being would... I don't think now is the time to insult the Chinese for this horrific scene, because as Rafy demonstrated, it happens in America and I'm sure other places... Really makes me depressed seeing this :(

There's also the problem that if no one can pay the hospitals wont treat them (or so I've been told, not confirmed though).
