why should anyone feel uncomfortable, restricted or derided for something that:-

1. Is out of their control if born into an, unfairly, stereotyped nationality or one with an unfavourable history (which shouldn't even be an issue but to some people it is)
2. Is not a defining aspect of their personality
3. They CHOOSE to adopt and share in its tradition

I don't mind people being patriotic.. as long as it isn't to the detriment of anyone elses freedom for patriotic expression (bordering on nationalism)

racism marks the end to freedom imo

and as ironic as what i'm about to say is (in comparison to what has just been said)
- racial standards
- stereotypes
- political correctness

have marked the end to freedom of speech a while ago
you may be able to get away with your comments on the internet without a verifiable identity tied to you

(doublestandards i guess.. im condemning you for racist expression in restricting the expression of others, yet, at the same time i'm attempting to restrict your own racist perspectives...)
