Agreed. I generally keep my Part A questions at 1-2 pages. Whereas Part B I'll push for 3-4 pages. How you divide your time in this section will also determine how much you write. I usually break up the 45 mintues so that part A has 15-20mins, and Part B 25-30 mins. Depends on the questions and how much I want to plan a logical answer.Well, I wrote around 1.5-2 pages for Question A in my trials and I got a mark of 9/10 so I think anything around there is sufficient. The thing is I'm not sure quality is such a huge factor in Ancient. For both questions, I used around 5 pages and I scored 23.5/25, so I don't think quantity matters, more so quality.
Just remembered... A & B are not separate, only 45 mins for both!Agreed. I generally keep my Part A questions at 1-2 pages. Whereas Part B I'll push for 3-4 pages. Are you kidding me? A 600 word essay is a 4 page english response. A 1000 word ancient essay is only 5-6 pages (in 45 minutes), and you reckon to write 6-8 pages?!as far as I know its 600-700 words for the 10 marker and 600-800 for the 15 marker. Not sure how that translates to exam pages though.
