Can't remember, never liked Pompeii but it wasn't as tricky as I anticipated (which was a lot before I walked into the test, and a little walking out of it).

I hated the graffiti question. I refered to the sources, and then talked about economy, social structures, and etc and they provide us with distinctive relationships.

Be lucky to get 4/6.

Last question was alright, hoping to get about 9/10.

I can't remember the questions but I do remember my answers so I will say it in the order I remember:

Pompeii forum
Imperial cult
Lararium
Amphitheatre
Exercise
Influence election results

Did I miss any?

Yep, I also said that they were present during important rites of passage such as marriage, births and funerals and were offered fruits and pine cones - symbols of fertility. I was also at a lecture and they actually talked about the house of the vetti Lararium - which was actually found in the slave quarters of the house, representing that household religion was available to all classes.

overall the core section was pretty straight forward this year. but im expecting marks lost for not enough examples for the 10 marker. Oh yeh for the source in the last question, did you see assume the reason the wall collapsed? i assumed that it was because of poor conservation methods, like erecting a roof. but it might be of environmental factors like weeds....

Overall, I was really happy with this exam. The multiple choice questions I found really easy and the 3,6 and 10 mark questions really good aswell. For the 10 mark they also seems to ask about investigating, preserving and reconstructing the past.

yes thats what i thought but the question specifically just said conservation. Although i did bring some elements of reconstruction to it which may be irrelevant.
