At what university is this?So apparently you do advanced subjects and an extra honors year. Is it worth the extra year or is it better to get into the workforce and start earning? (I'm planning to major in Actuarial btw
Thanks
I would say: yes. Honours is great. Is it possible to change into just normal maths after a few years into the degree? Would the honors really be worth a whole first year's salary?
yeah it was a good bludge course, but i think i deserved more than 78 for the course.but scif is gr8
And I think you can bail on honours if you want. It's just that it's automatic as part of the degree. I could be wrong, so probably ask...
I got 79. I feel the same way.yeah it was a good bludge course, but i think i deserved more than 78 for the course.
I read around and it says that if you don't want to do Honours in the Adv Maths degree, you have to transfer to B Science - i.e. normal Science.
