Complete the square, you'll get an inverse tan integral.

inverse tan is 1/(x^2+1).....if u complete the square u'll have a minus, not plus

Okay, hold on... let me do the integral myself and not just assume what it might be.

Well... that's odd. I will admit. I can get a solution but I'm not sure if that's in the syllabus (i.e. tan integrals of that sort).

I might be missing something.
