hey so how am i supposed to put the preference for commerce/law? do i just put down the code for combined law now ie. 426000? then if accepted that's where i specify for commerce/law? or is there a specific code for that? Thanks!!

Yes, just do what you did above. When you get your offer, you specify to do Commerce/Law from there.
