Yes. All the aos essay questions i've seen ask for deconstructed RT's.

Yes you need ORTs for AOS. Having two ORTs prepared is usually best because they may ask you to write about two, but even if they ask you to only write about one, one out of your two ORTs will probably be better suited to the particular essay question your given and so make things a little easier.
They have to include belonging and there's more to discuss if you can also relate it to your prescribed text.

You do need related texts (read at least 2)

They just need to be about belonging.

They don't have to relate to ur prescribed texts
it's a lot better if it does relate to your prescribed texts though as it allows for easier synthesis in your essay

Yes, sorry, ORTs are 'Other Related Texts' -> same thing as 'related text'. So for AOS, find 2 that you like.
It depends on your modules. Module A (comparative study) doesn't need a related text. Module B (critical study) doesn't need a related text either. But you will need a related text for Module C.

last year ESL student here.

in exam, you only need one related text for your essay NORMALLY, therefore teacher normally asks to prepare two to match up the essay (but stuff it haha. the essay question in ESL is pretty easy to twist it)

module A: you need one related for your essay. only one because they either ask for one or none.

module B: no related text. nothing to prepare for. you will know what is it when you are in class because i didnt know shxt before the module starts.
