hello guys i need help with this question.

A spaceship made a journey to a star 10.0 light years away taking 12 years to do so measured by observers on earth. By how much did the pilot age measured by the pilot himself?

$$It took him 12 years to travel 10Ly's, $\therefore $ he was travelling at $ \frac{5}{6}c$

$$Then, using the time dilation formula, we have $ t = \frac{t'}{\sqrt{1-\frac{v^2}{c^2}}}$

$t' = 12\sqrt{1-\frac{25}{36}}$

$t' = 12\sqrt{\frac{11}{36}}$

$t' = 12 \times \frac{\sqrt{11}}{6}$

$t' = 2\sqrt{11}$ years$$

I don't have a calculator on me, but that's the exact value.
