So really its engineering with more research? Doesn't sound that useless if you're into research as a potential career I suppose.
yep. Hopefully I get to go to cambridge end of next year :)

People it isnt how much you study its how well you study. You have to be effective about it,saying "im going to study for the next 3 hours" isn't effective. What you should say is "im going to do the entire 2008 past paper". Objective based studying rather then time based studying. Also dont do the 2011 exams until just before the actual HSC exams.

True but exam technique + assessment technique is crucial if you want that band 6...
This is incredibly true. Our first Modern History exam was on the American civil war and I know that in my head I understood the factors and influences and a lot of important dates and people etc.

The exam had a 5 mark short answer section and two 10 mark long responses. I'm pretty much looking at 18-19/25 just because I ran out of time and spent too much time trying to work out what is necessary to mention.

I said 99+ atar not 90+ atar as you stated on your signature idiot. Secondly a useless degree? hahhahahahahahaha. Thats the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. Have you even read what the degree is about? I get to do research as an undergraduate and have the opportunity tio go on exchange to any university that is a member of the IARU such as Oxford, Cambridge and Yale. Upon realising that you cant get 99+ and get into MBBS it appears you degraded your hopes to 90+ and LLB. What a loser.
You're so funny dude. You couldn't touch a med student. I wrote a little rap for you:

This is med bitch, you don't belong here
we're your greatest fear, the shit that you wish you could be
but are too weak to get near
is it startin' to make sense, is it startin' to come clear?
Take your stupid fuckin degree and get back to makin' 60k a year!

Not that I'm saying med is better than anything, I'm merely making fun of your attitude. WHO cares that you got 99. I got way above you, but I don't tell anyone. You know why, no one cares! Your degree is a joke. You'll never get into cambridge, and even if you did, you'd never be able to fund it.

Can't you just do civil or a normal bachelors in some sort of engineerimg and do a phd afterwards that gives you the same scope of research but even better qualifications?
This is way better option, esp. if you go to a european school.

it is a normal bachelors in engineering. So you do a technical major e.g. mechanical, electrical or w/e but you get to do special research projects with the professors and lecturers in a field of your choice. Hence when you graduate you can get a job as an engineer in what ever your major was, a job as a research engineer or go on to do a PhD. Here is the link for the degree http://studyat.anu.edu.au/programs/4714HBENG;overview.html
this research project is wasted. undergrads don't know anything and can't contribute. No research company will hire you, because...you HAVE NO PhD.

yep. Hopefully I get to go to cambridge end of next year :)
You won't
lol

I laugh everytime I see you.

Does anyone else?

It's just that youre so up yourself...with 0 reason to be.

Being stuck up isn't hard...you can tell the ones who are...they still talk about atars in uni...

Kids, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, a good atar is one that gets you into the degree _you_ want. If you want to do nursing, and it's 70 atar, and you get 72, then power to you, that's a good atar.

Actually, it's both that counts. "I'm going to study for the next 10 hours doing past papers"
