this is my first time posting so im not sure if im doing the right thing or not, but i really wanted your advices plz help!

i was going pretty well in my first half of the year and i kinda went downhill as the year went on.
i got(in the first half year):
ESL: 1/27
Math 4U:3/15
3U:3/29
PHY:3/15
Chem:2/21

i just finished my trial and im not sure if ill be able to get the atar i wish( 98+)
i do not know my overall rank but i can estimate;
ESL: 1/27
4U:5/15
3U:6/29
Phy:4/15
chem:3/21

my school rank is about 300

i need advices on how to maximise my atar in hsc and is it still possible for me to get my goal(98+) if i really push myself in the hsc?

Can you get 98+, unlikely.

I can't give you an estimate until you give me a school rank and I'm really not bothered to go look it up for you.

randwick girls is like in 300s. 98+ is still very possible if you focus more on your chem and phys (since that you are set for band 6 in esl and maths).

I highly doubt that you will get 98. I say this because at my school (rank 280's) the dux got a high 98 and he was coming first in nearly all his subjects. I reakon you will get around 90-93.

I'm surprised you achieved that considering the circumstances, but no need to be rude, be grateful that you actually received a fairly accurate estimate at the time.

I'd like to think my low ATAR estimate inspired you to work harder... or something like that.

Always good to see a user come back and tell us where they are at.

A key example of why I try to tell people ATAR estimates are often unreliable. Congratz on proving us wrong.

Pretty much.

People need to know that the estimates only reflect a fair projection if the student performs at the same level throughout the year. A lot of students do indeed pick up their game during the business end of the HSC thus achieving a higher ATAR.

yeah relax abit :p it was just an estimate, I am certain that the estimates inspired and motivated you to work harder, which got you the results.

Congratulations on your results, and on Dentistry.

all the best
