Well that was an interesting finance class. The teacher kept on talking to me in Arabic LOLOLOLOLOL. And he was like are you understanding? Well um I was kinda getting bits and pieces. He's Egyptian so they have different dialect. every country has a different dialect theirs is the hardest for me to understand cos they have aome different words too so I nodded, said yes and I gave him a cheesy smile. Eh it worked lol. He was like aha good good!! I was just thinking lol wtf just happened?

(because I can't understand any Arabic dialects, I can't just discriminate against one ). It's a vicious circle, created through a lack of understanding

Well I eat at auburn quite often and when they recognise u,restaurant owners and staff call u habibi sometimes, which means friend

Its like the only arabic word I know outside of the standard ones muslims use

Lol to be honest I can't remember what teacher we were talking about but I think we may have been talking about him lol. And hahaha no he didn't really talk to me in Arabic in front of the other students. I asked him a question about how he marked my paper and he was like talk to me in Arabic. I was like uhhhhhh okay? And after class he randomly asked me to see him. All he did was ask me if I understood. I said um understand what? He's like the work, qnd I was like um yes I do :/
Then he was like do u understand me? And I said (cos I didn't wanna be rude) yeah and he was like oh good good yood...bla blq bla didn't understand what he said and then he was like cos Palestinians speak different too....me is oiie loo what the help is this leading to?!?!? And then he made some weird reference to tabouli which I couldn't understand and yeah...was awkiessss lol.
