Yes I definitely want to! Because you get to do JFK as the topic (as well as that big project) and I love JFK ^_^Are you thinking of picking up extension history?
I think at my school quite a few people (7) wanted to do it except the school didn't allow it.
Wait wth - so you guys have no hist. ext. class? Are you thinking of picking up extension history?

Yeah, me too. Cursive feels weird, though writing that much in 40 minutes in print is really good.Print. I haven't done cursive since year 7 lol- it looks retarded when I do it
The head teacher didn't want to do it, and rejected my friend when only him and another person wanted to do it saying that the minimum standards of a class were 4.Wait wth - so you guys have no hist. ext. class?
Iirc there are 20+ options. So for the history extension major work/project/whatever thing, does the topic have to be related to ancient/modern history? Would it be possible to do it on like 14-15th centuries?
wait nvm wrong part huge derp from my part
w0t?Iirc there are 20+ options.
Oh wow - that would suck heaps. The head teacher didn't want to do it, and rejected my friend when only him and another person wanted to do it saying that the minimum standards of a class were 4.
They got 7 people and were still rejected (unless they're still negotiating even though the deadline has passed)
JFK is so interesting I reckon, shame I didnt get to study him.Yes I definitely want to! Because you get to do JFK as the topic (as well as that big project) and I love JFK ^_^
I'm pretty sure the history extension major work can be on whatever you want - but I am not too sure.So for the history extension major work/project/whatever thing, does the topic have to be related to ancient/modern history? Would it be possible to do it on like 14-15th centuries?
Hopefully it is! Another favourite history topic of mine is the Renaissance, which you don't get to learn about in Modern/Ancient since its that period in between.I'm pretty sure the history extension major work can be on whatever you want - but I am not too sure.
Wow that's awesome.Oh wow - that would suck heaps.
Afaik, our school can have a max. of 1 class - last year's yr 12's finished with 11 in the class - and all 11 got an E4
We did the Renaissance in Yr 10 elective - was heaps fun. My interest for it was only fuelled by playing Assassins Creed lol.Hopefully it is! Another favourite history topic of mine is the Renaissance, which you don't get to learn about in Modern/Ancient since its that period in between.
Hopefully I get in though, not too sure if there's a max number of students or if you have to have a certain mark in history.. mine hasn't been the best so far compared to everyone else.
Yes in Yr10 at my old school we had a 10wk history project - I did mine on the Medici family/renaissance purely because of my obsession for AC2 at the time lololWe did the Renaissance in Yr 10 elective - was heaps fun. My interest for it was only fuelled by playing Assassins Creed lol.
Haha nice - we had something similar - iirc, I did something to do with the downfall of the British Raj.Yes in Yr10 at my old school we had a 10wk history project - I did mine on the Medici family/renaissance purely because of my obsession for AC2 at the time lolol
Better get back to the basement for modern then.Hopefully I get in though, not too sure if there's a max number of students or if you have to have a certain mark in history.. mine hasn't been the best so far compared to everyone else.
