this, unfortunately :(
It is the only real reason why sciences are seen as 'hard', the science syllabus for HSC (all of them) half of it is utter crap really. Instead of teaching advanced topics in school that are interesting and and good (which are hard to understand etc etc), instead we get socio-economic science where we have to consider why mining can be economically viable or redundant..IN CHEMISTRY.
If the syllabus wasnt so stupid, maybe then I will enjoy the sciences more (I enjoy them when we are doing real things)

No that's my point lol- I do memorise it, I just kept using it wrong haha. I don't even know how to derive that one- maybe I could if I had to but I've never tried it.
Lol Neither.

For trig - I know how to derive Area of triangle (who doesn't?), Sine Rule, Angle between 2 lines - and that's about it. Oh, and the double and compound angle ones.
