I'm expected to do the best in my HSC exam because, as many people know, my school's Chemistry and Physics 3rd assessment and half yearly were fucked up.
Penrith HS Science Faculty has done some really stupid things to the assessments this year. In the half yearly, we were given 20 questions and 10 were asked - this gave rote learners an incredible advantage and I couldn't beat most of them because of the textbook rote learning (I beat all of them in the first and trial where nothing dumb was done in the assessment). In the third assessment, I supposedly "bombed out" but it was because a third of the test was "plan your response", "define the verb" and other bull shit like that which put me down at least 15 ranks. In total, the half yearly and the third assessment were worth 50%.
In the trial, all these rote learners did crap but did not drop down far enough and pretty much stayed in the same spot which is stupid as shit. All these rote learners even had incorrect information and no scientific language but still receive good marks (just fucking perfect).
Personal ATAR Estimate: 97.00-98.00
