Section 2 is any type of creative and 3 is usually an essay.

Think they could ask a speech. Could ask anything. But i'm still placing my bet that it'll still be a creative and essays for both papers.

Paper 2 will definitely specify a text type instead fo the usual essay imo
Paper 2 (modules) usually always specify essays, if they ask speeches or interviews, the scaling will be much higher since the CSSA (and IND I think) did not prepare anyone for it.

They won't ask you to write a poem, a cartoon, a comic strip, a website or song lyrics.

My teacher said to never write a poem for a creative. as for a song.. LMAO write up your own chords and all with the lyrics under it so the markers can test it out in the marking centre.

Forcing students to do a comic strip would be amazing.
I would legit enjoy at least 1 part of the English exam then :p

Just wondering... how you would lay out a feature article in the workbook?
I'm not sure about this but I think you'd need to divide it into two columns, like that of a newspaper with a headline or something.

If I'm filling up 2.5 pages of loose leaf binder paper for my creative.. how much pages would that fill in the hsc writing booklet?
and same question for my essays which are about 3-3.5 pages binder paper.

yeaa same it weird. i got my essay marked (i wrote it) and i was told it was too short exactly 3 pages. but once i counted it, it was like 1300 words.
do you think it will matter if my writing is small that it will seem that im not writing much.

i can usually fit like 15- 16 words per line and thats me writing normally
