Hey guys
People tell me that they get your final mark by finding the middle of your internal assessment mark and hsc mark
So your raw hsc mark get's scaled up right? Would that mean that your internal assessment mark is scaled up also then they find the middle after the scaling?

Bombing out the first assessment usually isn't too bad given that it isn't something ridiculously low.

At a high level school, it probably won't let you get to the top (hard to catch up) but you don't need a very high rank to get B6.
At a low level school, it's easier to catch up but you need to get to the top to get B6.

You can catch up in either 2 ways:
1) You can work your way back up the ranks to maybe 1st or 2nd by putting in some really strong performances in assessments
2) If the people who are higher ranked than you are genuinely stronger in economics then this just means you will get roughly your own external mark so you need to ace the HSC and also make sure your whole cohort are on their game when it comes to the externals

People often disregard or the 2nd way isn't effective but more often than not this will be the case for most students...

thanks man appreciate the advice! I have hope, and I'll try so damn hard, i'm just bummed cause i tryed extremely hard for the first one but i know i did crap :L
