Nearing the end of Term 1, our teacher has told us that we should have the following topics finished:

- Complex Numbers
- Polynomials
- Conics
- Integration

What are you guys up to? Especially selective school students. I am doing well in 4-unit but I am considering dropping if we don't finish in time.
What textbooks are you guys using. I use both Terry Lee and Cambridge.

It took us one complete Term to do complex numbers, but I guess that is why I nailed a 96% in the first exam.

In this term we have done Polynomials and Conics, but are going to start Integration soon.

Thanks guys and Good Luck!!!

Finished Complex Numbers, Polynomials, Graphs, Integration, Volumes, and started Conics last week. However, it's on break for revision for half yearlies. Pretty much just racing through Cambridge.

Just started mechanics. Volumes was by far the easiest topic tbh.

wow my school seems slow in comparison to u guys - but the teacher is very good. We've only done graph, conics and finished complex last week. Starting polynomials next week- quite sure its really short.

Well, my school teacher "Mr Tong" doesn't even tell us to do any of the textbook
He hands out "carefully chosen" HSC questions from 1980s-2000s :D best teacher ever!

Because 4U Cambridge is a terrible book! It only covers the basics of MX2.
Bill Pender's is awesome!

Good Luck guys!!!

ummm, everyone seems really far ahead! we've only done complex numbers (which took all term 4 last year), graphs, polynomials and we only just started conics :/ do you reckon we'll finish on time?
