Not surprised to be honest.

He's proven over the past few years he's the looset cannon at the University.

Look,
He got elected to the union board riding on the popularity of getting arrested during the strikes just before the campaign started.
And like,
He's a 5th or 6th year arts student.
And it's not like he doesn't have the time to be full-time, he's just using it to be on union board and SRC and being crazy.

So like,

Hahaha yeah I really wanted to do res ec, but now that I think about it, I have no idea why

But yeah after just 2 days into this placement, I think I really want to do rehab OT
(I was tossing up between paeds and rehab before)

I don't know why but suddenly geriatrics seems so amazing + all the things that I did and saw today just made me smile (but when aren't I smiling? hahahaha!)

The 3 day strike has been cancelled and agreements have been reached re: training and research days for staff, as well as a salary increase keeping in line with inflation rates etc.

I'd say we can expect a formal email with details in the next day or two.

Is this finally it?

I got my hands on a copy of the email, it apparently is it but it's not really clear until we can see all the classes up and running again.

Apparently like 21% of medical students want to do paeds entering med school, and only like 9% want to do it upon leaving. Haha

To be honest it doesn't sound as good as you would think it would be.
I think like >80% of OT's want to get into paeds (all you really do is assess and do your intervention by playing with them) however I reckon only about !0% only go into it in the end
