For the AU one, the 1.19AU thing
isnt it 2 sigfigs since 590 earth days is used?
590 = 2 sig figs
The orbit of the planet was given as a decimal to two places, so the final answer is a decimal to two places.

Damn, does that mean I lost a mark for this?
If the question didn't specify I highly doubt it...Unless if you filled out a couple of pages trying to write out the entire number.

All one page.

Somewhere between 4 marks and 7 marks I'm guessing. Confident with 6 or 7.

Anyone want to clarify a mark?

Anyone willing to give a mark?
bump.

What was the reason for the person feeling gravity in the circle thingy lol
i said initially the space station is a weightless environment since the only acting force is gravity (ie. no normal reaction force). When it rotates, the astronaut experiences centripetal force towards the centre of the space station as he is accelerating. This provides a reaction force, which results in positive g force, thus simulating gravity.

did u have to say that the normal force = weight force??

I wrote 'acceleration' instead of centripetal force towards the centre, is this okay?

Should be fine. I wrote something about the centripetal accleration causing an outwards movement on the person (forgot to write tangential velocity in here ffs) causing the person to feel a force against the space station.
And your signature, are the games over?

And for the 4th time.

Ahh okay. I still got Bio left

Also, I don't know what mark you'd receive haha sorry

Anyone have opinions on if I will be capped on the 7 marker for not talking about superconductors??

ah i didnt talk about superconductors either, i had planned to, but tbh i didnt have enough space, i filled the whole page with semi conductors, its use, its impact, bla bla
and then i was like...meh should be good enough LMFAO
fuck ==

Thanks. Should be happy with that. Lost more marks on short answers than 6/7 markers I think.
6 is just assuming it's not perfectly written. If it is you may get 7. Of it has inaccuracies you may get 5. :)

Can you answer my question. Do you think I will be capped because I didn't talk about superconductors. I spent 1.5 pages on pretty much semiconductors and benefits...

What was the explanation for the braking of the vehicle from the 'motor acting as a generator'?

The head of James Ruse Science confirmed that the solar cell can be used in the description of the photocell. Since she said the solar cell is a type of photocell.
So does this mean we won't be marked down for solar cells? Please please let this be true....

I wrote about induced currents creating eddy currents that opposed the magnetic field, creating repulsion that was utalised as a braking mechanism. Wouldn't bank on that being 100% correct though.

I assume that you may lose 2 or 3marks since the question said "changing electrical properties of materialS" so you had to talk about two materials.
For superconductors would you say something like; superconductors below their critical temperature will have zero resistance as electrons form cooper pairs. This led to use in maglev trains (outline benefits) and short distance electrical transmission (outline benefits).

I feel so bad guys, I knew I would do badly at Physics but not this bad. I'm seriously depressed right now my ATAR is gonna be completely screwed now (only do 10 units).

I'm estimating a mark of between 45 and 50 raw. Pathetic I know but I just couldn't think of how to equate multiple formulae together and got even simple formula questions wrong.

I am however ranked second in my class out of 8 people, so lets say the second top mark was 70 which means I get a mark of about 57.5 which is the average of the two, then is that mark scaled up a bit because physics is a hard subject? What would my final physics HSC mark likely be?

Please respond I'm freaking the hell out right now. Did better in the trials and topic tests for physics, why do I #$%@ up in the exam that matters the most!! I need 75 to get in to my science uni course so I hope I haven't ruined my chances. As for my other 4 subjects, i'm getting about 80% for each so Is there hope?

Oooooh please let this be right I wrote something similar to this (had not a single f%$ing clue though)
