Hi can you show me what the line of best fit wou;ld look like for this?

Do I need to rule it or just rough draw it?

Also, ,do I need to join the dots? Cheers

independent variable: mol/L (concentration of electrolyte)
dependent variable: change in mass

for electrolytic cells.

Well, it follows a linear trend more or less. and for graphs always use a ruler unless its a curve in which case, free hand it

The blue one is close but not quite right.

The HSC marking guidelines usually state this:

• Correctly plots points
• Draws line of best fit with similar number of points above and below the line

That is for two marks.

The blue line seems alright. You want around the same numbers of points above and below the data.

Don't join the dots like you have.

Hmm but in total I have 7 points so 3 above and 4 below is that incorrect?

Ok, I wont join the dots.
