Yeah I know I procrastinate a lot and think that making a study journal would help me focus and be motivated.

It might be a bit over the top though, you don't need to go to those lengths for 99.95, balance out your life, enjoy your holz a bit too

agree, don't just focus 100% on study, manage time effectively so that you can enjoy the best 2 years of schooling.

Yup true, I'm just trying to do all of this stuff just to improve me, but I'm not full on killing myself to do it, so it should be fine I guess.

That is quite a list, but I wouldn't confine myself to such a rigorous plan :S

Btw, what is this IDEX/ALARM you mention? The scaffold to writing a response?

IDEX stands for Identify, Define and Explain. This is a backup plan of getting marks in case you somehow screw up a higher order response like Evaluate or Assess. Since in the marking criteria in the HSC you would get at least one or two marks for identifying and explaining however, might not get any marks at all if your evaluate response is not given in a proper order (e.g. - if you forget to put a good judgement)

If you want to find info on ALARM check this website: http://www.darcymoore.net/2012/08/09/alarm-a-learning-and-response-matrix-1/

Sounds like a great plan! Good luck! :)

Just remember don't go full on with your goal. Have a balanced lifestyle and you'll be really thankful.

Guys. Don't set plans that go across a whole holidays. It will become too overwhelming after a week or two. Set daily plans. If it heaps, just follow your school timetable.
