How do you find the area between te semi circle and the x-axis of this curve:

y=(9-x^2)^1/2 ?

If you are required to use integration, then make a substitution where x = sinØ, and integrating with respect to Ø.

(Ø is meant to be a theta)

if the question is just finding the integral, then integral= area of the semicircle

You use the basic area of a circle formula and divide it by 4
