dot points, are you supposed to look at the "students learn about" section or the "students learn to" section?

They can ask you anything from either section of the syllabus, so it's always smart to do both.

I don't quite know if I fully agree. The 'students learn about' dotpoints encompass the content needed to address the 'students learn to', most usually. Also, it depends on the subject. For example, in Biology there is only "students learn to".

It'd help if we knew your subjects.

Whatever the case, start off with the students learn about, and see if you can answer the students learn to with such content. If not, then add the appropriate points to your notes.

Anything your lab manuals is assessable, so don't leave it just to the syllabus dot points, although they are important. Just review prac's that you have done, as I guarantee it will be in your examinations.
