It's nearly at the end of the second year of uni, and still I'm not sure of what I want to do in life....

I don't know where I'd like to see myself in 5 years time and nor do I know what career I'd be interested in.

Having been to career days, researched majors, looking into majors ... I still feel somewhat like this:

How do you truly find out what you want to DO in life?
I dont know man. I couldn't make it into medicine and I had a strong interest for Neurosurgery. I want to keep trying for that the next 5 years in UNI or as long as I can but there is so much someone can do for Medicine from university. And so I had to find my options that matched the industrial demand and weight it up with my interests and the pay. Apparently aerospace engineering is a growing industry that has a large demand and a small supply due to the growing industry. You can get a placement at flight centres or at defence bases. It is quite interesting you see. But from what I saw you said 'you are not good at math or science'. Then, In other words what I mean to tell you is that sit down one day, browse through computer, research jobs and find one that suits you. There is always something for everyone so something must suit you. Possibly wild life photographer if you are someone who likes visiting new places, seeing new things and having the feeling of that 'adrenaline'. Or you can be a IT hardware or software person, which I dont think you need UNI for but yeh you get what I mean. Go through job guides etc.

I can't believe you fucking morons waste your life here. Listen, this is your LIFE. You need to be living with real human beings. You need to go find a girlfriend and spend time with her. You need to find happiness. Happiness is not in your online games or crappy manga books, it is in other people.

Do you really want to be 40 years old and look back to your 18-25 years and realize you pissed them away in fits of loneliness playing RPGs and crying yourself to sleep? I know most, if not all of you, had no real childhood or high school experiences because you were too busy being antisocial losers. Change that, now. How much greater would your life be now had you worked up the courage to talk to that one girl and go to the prom with her? Wouldn't high school have been amazing if you actually went out with friends on the weekend and saw movies? This is why you people love anime so much, because it portrays these perfect people going through high school living the lives YOU wish you could have lived back then.

Stop wasting your time on the Internet. Look outside and see the trees and the sun. Please. There is a world out there. There are interesting people all over. Why do you want to throw away what is left of your life playing fictional RPGs when real life is one big RPG with real consequences and relationships?

Lots of people don't know what they are 'doing' in life.

Some people start of as bankers, then go into teaching etc..

Think about it like this:
When you are in your death bed, what will you regret not doing with your life?

For me it would be not being able to change someone's life with what I have learned, or that I haven't left a big enough footprint on the world. And also giving up on what I really wanted to do because I failed too many times.

failure is the key to success. sometimes being normal is fine but being special to a special someone is important <3.

or that I haven't left a big enough footprint on the world.
In the interest of leaving a sufficiently large footprint on the world I leave my lights on 24/7 and drive everywhere even when I could more easily walk there.
