84% based on the amount of people including myself thinking it was fkn insanely hard
well last year an 85 gave you a 93, so if you found it a lot harder surely it would be below 84%...
but imo the exam was relatively easy, nothing to difficult, though i must admit it felt very long!

i think a 70 raw would be band 5
Tbh I wouldn't call it a long shot if a 75 got a band 6 now that I'm reading even more people 8/10 felt it was beyond difficult.
As for a band 5 I think=70+
Band 4=60+
Band 3=50+
The test compared to previous years is a big difference. Average Mark is probably going to be around 40% raw statewide.

general maths isnt hard anyways since like the 2000 papers 89 would get you 93-95. Band 6 this year will be low 80s if not 85

I thought it was incredibly easy.
While there were some obscure things in there from the syllabus, none of it was particularly complex and not at all time consuming. I had MC done in 30 min and each question took me about 15 - 20 minutes so I had about 20 - 25 minutes at the end to check over things.
I think BoS made it much easier than 2013, 2012 ect. Mind you, if you weren't familiar with entering data on the calculator and all of the functions of the STAT mode, you would lose a lot of marks.
I think I'll get a mark of 90+ raw. Not sure how I will be scaled by my school though. Hopefully positively.

omggg i feel the exact same way. btw for the question where there was a swimming pool and we had to calculate the scale. I'm just a little confused that can my scale be in decimal points. From what i remember i wrote 1cm = 3.55 (or something like that) do you think that will be fine ?
