Should I paint gesso on the canvas? (1 Viewer)

Anyone who have used/is going to use canvases for the bow!
Did you guys paint gesso first?or just started painting?
I don't know if I should buy one or not...
I'll definitely use it if it helps.

I'd probably prime the canvas with gesso first but obviously it would depend on what you were planning to do/what materials you are going to work with.

Yeah prime the canvas

If your canvas is unprimed, then use gesso to prime it. If it's primed, then don't worry about it
