I would start by not leaving a generation of people without homes and destitute because some ancient scripture (which almost everyone, quite frankly, thinks is bullshit) justified it...Ok Armchair General, what would you do when people are lobbying rockets and kidnapping/torturing your citizens?
(Yes, yes, you are going to go on about the fact that it was land subject to Her Majesty... I know, I know... Nethertheless, it's hard not to argue that these people weren't forced out of house and home irrespective of who owned that land, they still had homes, lives, etc there...) It's hard to argue that the Palestinains would not bitter... Not only this, the tit for tat situation we see play out between both sides is certainly not helping...
The whole settlement situation where Israeli citizens behave like squatters is also clearly not helping...
But yes, you can also argue that the present Palestinian "tactics" have not been koshar (to ironically coin the phrase)... Yes, what the Palestinians have been doing is wrong, but, Israels behaviours have certainly not been helping the whole situation...
