Yeah but don't use it religiously. Use other resources as well such as Cambridge or new senior mathematics.
Ok you are allowed to use MIF; it's good to build a foundation, unfortunately it doesn't not challenge you much unlike the other textbooks which I have mentioned. Anyway, enigma has been saying this for years: 'Avoid MIF as much as you can'.

I don't see a problem with using just MIF and doing past papers along with it.
In fact, regardless of what textbook you use, past papers are the key to success in Year 11 and 12 mathematics (all levels).
I remember using just Cambridge in Year 11 (for 2U/3U) and in Year 12, using just Fitzpatrick (for 3U).
I actually didn't do much from Cambridge or Excel for 4U (never used Terry Lee) in Year 12 - mainly worked on past paper questions (then again, I had tuition for it).
In short, no need to use multiple textbooks (however, I guess Cambridge is a great resource for 2U/3U).
ahah naahh I'm taking it easy. Yes i have exams already. I've had about 5 so far.
ahah mine is always prioritising english because I'm so bad at it! @wiliaamnuugyen i reckon your best bet is to do what takes the most time, is weighted more and or/is more difficult first and spend less time on what you find easier/weighted less or less time consuming.

Think about it like this.
There are 4 terms.
At the end of term 2, the exams are called 'half yearlies' because it is 'half' a year.
But it's not even term 2?

I'm okay, I just went through my round of assessments for literally, every class.
Finished my HSC Business Studies Half Yearly.
3U Maths test tomorrow.
Got my Economics (19/20) and English Ext 1 (29/40 T_____T).
Sigh. Considering dropping English Ext 1 for the HSC if these marks continue.
All my half yearlies for Year 11 will start in Week 1 Term 2 (first off, Physics) and throughout Week 2 and 3 (2U Maths, 3U Maths, Economics).

solid effort with eco
and dw, a lot of people find ext 1 eng very tenuous as a subject; it's completely different to adv eng (just by glancing the syllabus). so i reckon you should keep at it until the end of year 11 - maybe then you can make a more informed decision. but from what i observed, you should do ext 1 if you have a passion for english, otherwise you will despise it. probs why the cohort for ext 1 dwindled from 20~ ppl to just 4, currently
