Prelim 2015 Chit Chat Thread (2 Viewers)

My "report" was the teacher ticking the boxes of: excellent, very good, satifaction, needs improvement, unable to comment.
So considering you guys get ranks and all is cool. I wish I knew my ranks for all my subjects so I could have a clearer indication of what I should drop!

I got my report today! Don't know how to feel about it.

English Advanced 9/82
English Extension 1 9/21 (will be dropping so I don't mind as long as I'm doing okay)
Mathematics 17/105
Mathematics Extension 1 13/63
Physics 13/56
Economics 1/24
Business Studies HSC 2/61

I guess from here on, I'll try to improve on my Physics and Maths.

LOL Thank you! I'm just really worried that if I keep this consistent and not improve that it will really affect my ATAR.
These ranks in a selective school would seem great, because a majority of selective school rankings are in the top 50.
My school rank is 100 - 200 and even though I am part of the stronger areas of my cohort and would like to be a part of the 25 - 30 people who receive a 90+ ATAR.

Honestly, this system of rankings is so cruel, it makes everything so competitive. Aurgh!

Just work at maths and physics . Maintain the same effort for business, eco and eng.

solid job people! but just to warn you, don't get so bogged down by not ranking 1st in everything - there's better things to worry about in year 11 lol

I'm about to beat you physically, thats what D:< ! I would honestly, love to come top 5 in Mathematics, Mathematics Extension AND Physics. And I see this person rolling up with all these rankings being like "Amg, I suuuuuck" GOD DAMN IT Q_______Q.

What I find annoying is that I'm topping extension maths but almost everyone else in extension is beating me in advanced...

Then my other ranks vary from 2 to failing English. (I don't actually have my ranks yet so probably not but anyway.)

Heh. My exam is tomorrow. The extent of my procrastination is evident. (I've actually fully written the essay I need to recreate in class tomorrow.)
