So if I'm coming 5th internally and get the highest external mark of 89, will my final mark be the average of these two?Yes you do. You get your mark averaged with the mark that your rank corresponds with. However, that's not your 'mark' as scaling will take place
yesSo if I'm coming 5th internally and get the highest external mark of 89, will my final mark be the average of these two?
When did he say this, wish I could of been there to see itMy physics teacher called me a dick for being a troll...
Wait i think you were there ahaha he said in chem! Remember how that girl came in for the talk and i asked her a shit hard physics question and she couldnt do it? He got butthurtWhen did he say this, wish I could of been there to see it
But I thought that the person ranked first internally will take my external mark since its the highest mark?
He takes it but then that averages with his actual mark. But I thought that the person ranked first internally will take my external mark since its the highest mark?
So I still get my external mark but the person ranked first internally also gets it?He takes it but then that averages with his actual mark.
lol that is so unfair honestlySo I still get my external mark but the person ranked first internally also gets it?
Yes its split into two and you get half and the person who got that rank gets the other half and same with your rankSo I still get my external mark but the person ranked first internally also gets it?
lol what do you mean "half"?Yes its split into two and you get half and the person who got that rank gets the other half and same with your rank
Yeah, it kinda demotivates me to not work hard because someone else will take my mark, I'm still not too sure about this though.lol that is so unfair honestly
Then why did you mention halting earlier on?Bruh whats so hard to understand your mark gets averaged with your rank mark and thats your final mark
Ok, say the 5th highest external mark is xSo if I'm coming 5th internally and get the highest external mark of 89, will my final mark be the average of these two?
You won't get stripped of your own mark. It's your mark + the mark your rank corresponds to, then averagedYeah, it kinda demotivates me to not work hard because someone else will take my mark, I'm still not too sure about this though.
Well, for eco it is essential to know the content back to front. The flair in your responses usually come from how well you articulate your knowledge, and how well you can make links, not using sophisticated language and philosophical perspectives like in English. So I recommend, learning all of eco, doing a couple of past papers to refine your answers and maybe get into essay writing.guise
just a quick Q
for content heavy subs like legal, modern history and economics, I realised that my content knowledge for all of said subjects is non-existent. and I get that many recommend doing practice essays to improve argumentative flair, but I don't know if that is possible without a solid knowledge of the content. hence why I'm thinking of memorising my notes (because the above subjects except maybe eco is mainly rote learning), and then proceed to doing practice essays leading up to the hsc exams two weeks in advance
thoughts?
