I guess it just means something to me because I know a few trans and several gay people and want them to be able to be more happy

Yeah, this is about my mindset. I give as many fucks about their sexuality as I would to a straight person.

Whilst they have been oppressed, I still don't see them as special, its just whatever, if you identify as a certain type of sexuality, cool Its just good that the legal side of such an emotion-based topic is allowing it, more freedom for everyone.
