kinda in multimedia... i managed to get 92 in trials having started 'studying' (complaining to people that we hadn't learnt anything in class) like 3 hours before the exam. in fact i went in there barely knowing anything and BSing most of it.

prob won't start studying for multimedia till after my modern history exam...
wtf haha that's crazy good. I did the same (not proud of it but whatever). Read through my notes once before exam. Didn't get as high as you, but came 1st so all is good.

What screwed me up is I didn't know what were the 'technical factors' etc. And I didn't study prelim so yeah.

98 was a state rank last year (dude who tied 4th), you gonna get it haha ???

18 days, 7 hours until Paper 1 English.

The nerves are starting to kick in. Realise I need luck to be on my side and the exam not choose those random syllabus points I haven't learnt for Bio, Chem and Physics.

Im just hoping I can learn most things in time. This is the end game of my high school and I promised myself before trials that I wouldn't still be learning content the night before my exams but what's done is done. For trials I stayed up the night before studying until around 12:30 am, and woke up around 6:00 am, to study for a few hours before my exam. I'm wondering if I haven't learnt the content in time (like my scenario before trials), would it be beneficial to stay up light and or wake up early to study? I don't want to be brain dead in the exam, but on the other hand, I want to learn the content because in my Biology trial exam the 8 marker invloving the lines of defence and immune respones, and prevention of disease, I learnt the day before studying.

Why don't you sleep really early and wake up really early? As in you can study throughout the day, sleep at around 7 and wake up at 3, that way you'll have gained 8 hours of sleep and at the same time, you'll have more hours to study after you wake up, so when you go into the exam you won't have to think hard to remember what you've memorised, because you just memorised the information a few hours ago.

Why can't you get the content down now? We've still got a while till Biology.

I could see it going well in this topic :)

Operations
Influences
 corporate social responsibility
– the difference between legal compliance and ethical responsibility
– environmental sustainability and social responsibility

As in long term burnout or burnout from a hard day's study?
Ummm, like a short-term burnout. Not as little as a hard day (even tho that might be the breaking point), but say a week or more of hard study.

Thoughts on taking a complete break from studying over the weekend?

I studied two subjects a day everyday from 8am-3pm this week :p
not unless you are confident. Just think in 1 months time you wont be doing any study for another 4 months.

I've been burn out since trials and the only thing keeping me sane and still able to study is coffee and energy drinks
