The probability A wins was 1/2 so you find an equation for probability up to n and then multiply both sidens by 2^(n+1) to obtain the answer.
Actually I think you multiplied by 2^(2n+1) in the end

Out of curiosity would 70/70 always align to 100 since they separate state ranks by your working do they separate 100 on working
