When does uni start for new students?
On the uts calendar site it says there are preparation and orientation weeks around mid march and classes commence on the 21st march.
The UAC site says that uni commences on the 6th march.
And my mate who started last year says that he started at the end of February.

The date on your timetable should be the correct one.

UTS have equalised the length of all 3 semesters, so we essentially run on a trimester model now. That pushed back autumn semester by about a month.
