Better question how does one like English and maths simultaneously (cough dux of my school)

I personally found discovery so much easier than any part of paper 2.

When I found out that they were removing paper 1 I was just like "omg thank goodness my HSC is over"

when are they removing it? pls make it be soon..

I'll be fine for Discovery I think, like you can bs your way through the essay and comprehension for a band 6 (to a certain extent)... Plus you can prepare like a bunch of creative writing pieces for your repertoire... I have 2-3 prepared so far. The Module kinda freak me out though, like I don't know if I'll have the right examples to apply to the questions x.x

Tbh, the fact that you're being ranked against standard as it is for the discovery essay, and that it's out of a mere 15 and not 20, makes that essay SO MUCH easier than the module ones to do.

I did my paper 2 for english today (which was just module B) I OVERESTIMATED MY WRITING SPEED I ONLY GOT 1/3 THROUGH

I was like 1/4 the way through and the teacher was like "ten minutes remaining"
I almost died

If i had to choose between English or mx2 morning classes everyday, i would choose mx2. Not a morning person not a mafs person either tbh

i would do 5u of maths compulsory..with 5am classes instead of english
actually naaaah english is not that bad LOL

I think another issue I had with my writing is I used a pen that has like more friction, so it doesn't go into unreadable writing for the sake of the teacher's eyes haha. My usual pen is all nice and like slides with ease, and it creates lines that you cant read hahahaha

A common exam technique is actually to pick a pen you're most comfortable with.
