I'm being told that apparently both ACCT1511 and ECON1102 are shit compared to their core first year counterparts (1501 and 1101)... and now I don't know which one I want to do next semester

At the end of the day you might as well finish them off. And yes I hated these subjects especially ECON1102 nothing like ECON1101 and I reckon ACCT1511 is just an extension of ACCT1501, well the finals a lot overlapped.

I planned to make my other subjects the following:
- ACTL1101 (duh)
- MATH1251
- MATH1081

Cause I don't want to delay discrete till next sem. So I'm just thinking about which one to delay... I was originally set for ACCT1511 but then my peer mentor told me it wasn't like ACCT1501...

If it really is an extension I may want to do ACCT1151 then tbh. Just questioning why it's 2hr tute every fortnight though instead of 1hr per week

And the maths department doesn't allow students to do discrete in summer term. Shame.

I'm gonna have to get the school to manually enrol me in 2 courses. I'm wondering if they will approve the enrolment for both for me otherwise i've gotta find other courses to do which would make my timetable lame.

Leehuan, choose the one that would delay you the most in your program.

Check future courses that you will do and their pre-reqs.

If you still can't decide, choose the one that gives you a better timetable.

If you still can't decide, flip a coin lol.

I would recommend avoiding it as the experience was horrible compared to what i've heard of the semester one course.

Leehuan, choose the one that would delay you the most in your program.

Check future courses that you will do and their pre-reqs.

First two are already satisfied. ACCT and ECON mean nothing to the broader scale of actuarial. May take your statement 3
