Ahh rip! Nah I'm sure if you smash externals you won't be held back too badly

I haven't being going the best haha - 70%~ in a few subjects, but everything else is okay I guess. The next assessments will be very important.

its like mafia with a shit ton of more characters and setups customizable

Gratification is relative to an individuals desires. You're sad with 90s, but I'm happy with 90s! You aren't failing with 85 haha - especially since you go to such a great school!

No what I mean is like just say you want to aim for 95 atar, with scaling and things, don't u need like 90 for all your subjects?

Well it depends on your subjects. But 90 in all your subjects will probably get you higher than 95 atar! But yes - having a goal to get all rounders will consolidate your chances of hitting 95

That's the thing, I can get above 90, but English is dragging me down to the bottomless pit of Mystery Mark

Well you see obviously seem to have some passion for English considering you picked 3u AND 4u! Is it Advanced that's dragging you down? I think you should focus on Advanced but obviously not neglect your other subjects. But you can't be doing that bad right? I think your standards are very high

Yes I am doing that bad lol I do have high standards, but I'm not the type of people that say their fail is 85%

I focus a lot on English, and I tend to like it, but my marks don't reflect that.

Honestly, I'm doing 3U English because I don't want to pick up another subject, 5 subjects is enough

And I want to do 4U English because it's the best 2 units of english that counts (another reason why I did 3U), it's a bad reason and I should love english, but I'm failing 3U and Adv, the avg for the grade is 50%, it's that harsh of the mark.

But its also your relative rank that's important If the avg for the grade is that low then maybe it's the tests that are hard! .... or a bad cohort.. but I wouldn't think so. I'd recommend you work on Advanced for your 2 units of English that would count and not 3U and 4U! Just my opinion
